At Brunswick’s Octoberfest I saw my first Masskrugstemmen competition. It’s a German “sport” to see who can hold a liter of beer in a stein straight out from their body the longest without spilling or dropping the any beer.

      It was a semifinal round so the last four people made it through to the finals on Sunday.
