This is it, the last photo of the year!

One year ago I had the crazy idea to take and post one picture a day here and I had no clue what I was getting myself into. Trying to be creative, take a decent picture, edit it, post it, and write a few sentences everyday is more work than I ever thought it could be. There were more than a few days that it definitely felt like a second job.

I couldn’t have made it though this project without the support of so many people, most importantly, my new wife, Julie. Thank you, all, for your kind words of encouragement, and Julie, for following me all over while I took pictures.

With the new year only a few days away, it’s time to start putting the Christmas decorations away. I’d love to leave them out all year, but then they wouldn’t feel as special when I get to pull them out around Christmas.
